The most recent WAGBA Business Forum was held on the 27th of October at the MTU Maintenance Service Centre Australia Pty. Ltd. in Canning Vale, Western Australia. The event was held with great success as MTU Managing Director, Sebastian Moerl, presented the future of aero engines and industrial gas turbines and MTU's works towards the revolutionary vision of emissions-free flights.
Numerous WAGBA members and their business partners had the opportunity to walk and experience the impressive, state of the art maintenance service centre of MTU, which was put into operation some 2 years ago.
As Germany’s leading aero engine manufacturer and service provider MTU are experts in the field of stationary gas turbines as well as commercial and military aircraft engines, specialising in various aspects of production such as design, development, manufacture, and life cycle maintenance.
As a keynote speaker for this Business Forum, Professor Dr. Klaus Broichhausen of RWTH Aachen University in Germany graced the highly informative event by sharing his expertise and thoughts of “managing value in an increasingly complex world”. WAGBA President Stephan Kirsch thanked Professor Klaus Broichhausen in saying: “A highly informative and visionary keynote, which aligns perfectly with the business narrative and service activities of MTU in Australia”.
Following the feedback received by many attendees the Business Forum at MTU was very successful. In response to the event Sebastian Moerl commented, “A great event - I am looking forward to the next WAGBA Business Forum. Special thanks to Stephan and Elke for organising it. Well done!” Whereas Michael Warneke expresses his gratitude to the MTU: “It was a pleasure to be there and to enjoy a very informative session. Many thanks to the MTU Maintenance Service Centre for this opportunity”.
WAGBA would like to extend its gratitude to MTU for hosting such an informative event to Professor Klaus Broichhausen for his keynote presentation and to all the attending guests for their contributions. We look forward to the next upcoming event with MTU and wish them the very best with their undoubtedly revolutionary future endeavours.
