Brats, Brews, and Bonds in Perth
WA in May is often graced with warm sunny days and cooler nights, perfect for Australians to, as they say, “fire up the barbie”. For WAGBA specifically, it is time to pop that Bratwurst on the grill! WAGBA’s annual fundraising event, Maytoberfest, was held on the 25th of May at the contemporary Sentinel Bar & Grill, located at St. George’s Terrace in the heart of Perth’s CBD. The event was held with much success, amassing some 135 WAGBA members and friends in attendance to support the event – including special guest Mr. Wilfred Wimmler, Austrian Honorary Consulate, and Mrs. Renate Wimmler – warmly welcomed by WAGBA President Stephan W Kirsch in his opening speech.
The event, mirroring the festive spirit of Oktoberfest in the month of May, provided a unique opportunity for attendees to expand their networks and meet new people in an informal setting, allowing for personal connections to be made and fostering the sense of community within WAGBA. In response to the success of the event, WAGBA President Stephan W Kirsch commented on LinkedIn: “Fantastic networking. Some 135 representatives from business and culture making the event a memorable success!”
