Celebrating Young German Speakers
In early March 2026, the Goethe Society WA Inc. held its DSD Ceremony, celebrating the outstanding achievements of the 2025 DSD1 and DSD2 recipients. Congratulations to all students — your success is a testament to your dedication, perseverance, and hard work.
It was a great honour for WAGBA President Michael Warneke to congratulate the recipients alongside the Honorary Consul of Germany, Dr Gabriele Maluga, who joined the event despite a demanding schedule. Both shared encouraging words and highlighted the value of multilingual education and the diverse pathways it can open.
A sincere thank you goes to the teachers, whose passion and commitment make these achievements possible — often continuing their teaching even after a full school day. We also extend our appreciation to all special guests for their inspiring contributions.
